September 24, 2018
You are invited to attend the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Scoil Bhríde Parents' Association which will be held on Monday 24th September 2018, at 7.30pm in Scoil Bhríde.
The meeting will start at 7.30pm with an information hour-long session on Internet Safety, which will be run by Mary Crosbie from the National Parents' Council. This is a very topical session following the recent report which highlighted that 32% of Irish children are talking to strangers online every week. Mary will provide use with strategies to help our children be responsible, effective and safer internet users.
Following the Internet Safety session, the AGM will commence at 8.30pm. The AGM provides an ideal opportunity for all parents and especially parents of Junior Infant classes to get together and find out more about the role of the Scoil Bhríde Parents' Association (PA).
We always welcome new PA Committee members, if you would like to consider joining the Parents' Association Committee for the year ahead please submit your name and contact details to the current Secretary of the PA Committee (Jenny Mousley), c/o school office, prior to the Annual General Meeting. Alternatively, you can fill in the expression of interest form on the night. Election of new committee will take place at the AGM. If you cannot commit to joint the committee at this stage but would like to help out at our various activities throughout the year you can always put your name down on our 'helpers' list at the AGM.
