Today, the Minister for Further and Higher Education, James Lawless visited our school to present us with our ‘Silver Curious Minds’ Award. The minister was joined by Dr. Ciarán Seoighe Deputy CEO of Research Ireland and Mr. Carl Gibney, Communications Manager at Research Ireland. The girls presented their projects and got the opportunity to ask Minister Lawless and Dr. Ciarán lots of questions about science.
Today was a celebration of all the incredible work happening with STEM in our school. Thank you to all the girls in 4th class, 6th class and Ms. Barrett’s class for their participation in the project. Thank you to Ms. Young and all the class teachers involved for your super work with the girls to promote STEM in our school.
