We have been very busy in 2nd class in room 9.
Check out our great work so far 😊
We went around our school and used our maths eyes to look out for symmetrical objects in the real world.
We discovered so many!
We never noticed that the outside of our school building is symmetrical and we pass it every day!
The girls have been learning how to play football & camogie every week with Clane GAA.
The future of Clane football & camogie is very bright!
We had lots of painting fun designing these colour wheel umbrellas.
We explored primary, secondary and territory colours and ways in which colours can be mixed to create new colours.

We had great fun dressing up for school. Ms Downes did not recognise us!
We headed off on our Witches Walk. We had so much fun and it was so cool to see all the girls in our school all dressed up 🙂
We are so lucky to have such a wonderful library in our school. We love our weekly visits and our TY student Orla helped us pick new books to read.
We have been learning about the different types of house in SESE. We collected lots of different recycled materials at home and brought them into school to create our very own ‘Room in a Box.’
We got very creative with our designs and made beds, couches and even little desks for our rooms. There will be lots of engineers, architects and designers in this class in the future!
Room 9 was a very busy place to be on the lead up to Christmas. We loved taking part in our first school musical.
Santa took some time out of his busy schedule to visit Scoil Bhríde and brought us jellies and some Lego for our classroom!
We can't wait for our Christmas holidays and for Santa's arrival!
