Welcome to Ms. Shine's 4th class! We are looking forward to a happy and fun year ahead!
We have had a busy September settling back into school and getting to know each other. The girls painted self-portraits and interviewed each other "as Gaeilge."
We chatted about how we are all unique and then proved this by creating our own thumb print pictures!
Inspired by the work of Evie Hone, the girls created beautiful stained glass pictures of their own which are on display in the windows of our classroom 🙂
We learned all about endangered animals around the world and each girl researched an endangered animal of their choice. Following this, they designed beautiful posters promoting the great work of the ISPCA. Check them out!
And finally, we were very lucky to have the opportunity to view the amazing book "In the Ould Ago" which was researched and written by a famous Grandad of a girl in our class!
Thank you so much for donating a copy of this book to the school library 🙂
