We did lots of fun experiments for Science Week. Here is one we did to make a rainbow of colours using skittles and warm water.
World Kindness Day was on Friday 13th November 2020. We learned a poem about kindness and created flowers to represent all of the different ways we can be kind to one another in school each day.
Our class made tiny Christmas hat decorations using wool. We had great fun.
We also participated in Active Advent. This meant we had to do something active each day. One day we had a dance competition.
Our class created a Christmas Prayer Service to pray for everyone in our school community. We performed the nativity and set up an alter in the hall. The rest of the school watched in their classrooms.
We used pastel colours to create an Easter silhouette.
Our class are taking part in an Active Sitting Pilot. We are taking turns to sit on stability balls instead of chairs. This has been proven to improve concentration and posture when used in other countries. We created our own rules for their use to keep everyone in our class safe.
We created pictures of Cherry Blossom Trees in Art. Cherry Blossom trees are one of the first signs of Spring. We used a technique called pointillism to create our paintings.
