Parent Survey: Prevalence of Head Lice in Irish Primary Schools
November 30, 2016 – December 6, 2016
My name is David Costello and I am in my Final Year of Environmental Health (B.Sc) in Dublin Institute of Technology. I am currently conducting a thesis looking into the Prevalence of Head Lice in Irish Primary Schools. I am looking to increase my response rate for my electronic surveys designed for Primary School Teachers and parents.
The main aim of my project is solely focused on educating teachers and parents on the topic to dispel commonly held myths and stigmas for teachers in Irish Primary Schools. I am very passionate about this topic and feel it needs proper attention from authorities to help find a solution. My results from parents and teachers will be correlated and I will try and find possible solutions for the topic.
I have designed factual and educational information leaflets on the head lice topic for parents and teachers to offer assistance on dealing with the topic.
I would love to reach as many teachers and parents as possible to add strength and depth to my results category so I have designed two Survey Monkey electronic Surveys.
