Well done to the girls in Ms. Gráinne Mac Glinchey’s 5th class who won an award at the Irish Aid Awards in Dublin castle today, 30th May. Irish Aid received over 540 entries and we were one of 15 schools shortlisted for an awards. The girls won an award for ‘Inspiring Global Citizenship in Primary schools’. We had a lovely day in Dublin castle. The girls got to play games and attend a drumming workshop. The girls should be really proud of their achievements. It was lovely to accompany the girls today and to see how excited they were to receive their award. Ms. Mac Glinchey, Mrs. Hennessy and Jackie.
