The cross-country squad have been training for the last number of months ahead of the Cumann na mBunscol Cross Country race, and we were so impressed by the dedication and hard work shown by all squad members. The race took place in Rathcoffey GAA on April 10th and the girls were a credit to the school with how they showed up and raced. In a field of over 140 young athletes, we took home individual placings of 3rd (Kate Kinsella) and 4th (Sorcha Tonra). We were also the winners of the team event. This was a significant achievement, as it is the first time that we have ever brought home silverware in Cross-Country. We are so proud of all the athletes.
