The girls worked really hard on their European Country Projects. They worked in pairs and made some brilliant posters and powerpoint presentations.
Our new interactive whiteboard is up and running in room 2. It is a brilliant tool to use in the classroom and we are looking forward to making great use of it for the rest of the year.
This year the girls made a fantastic effort in designing their outfits for The Halloween Funathon. Room 2 was full of fantastic costumes!
This week we focused on Tesselations in Maths. The girls made images by using tiles and tangrams. We also made a display as part of the Maths Art Competition.
This week, the girls were challenged with the task of making their own musical instruments. The girls were asked to use everyday items found around their house. There was many brilliant ideas on show and a huge effort was made by all.
To celebrate Science Week, we did the lava lamp experiment in class. The girls could notice the different densities in their plastic bottles and when mixed with an alka-seltzer tablet, a lava lamp was formed.
