The girls worked really hard individually and in pairs to research and create their European Projects in September. They used laptops and books to conduct their research. I am so proud of all of their work.
The girls in Room 1 learned about different instruments through the new music programme, Dabbledoo. They then had some fun creating their own unique musical instruements using different materials that they gathered. They did such a fantastic job!

The girls in Room 1 have been busy using the school laptops to type their procedural writing and to research various topics. It is so wonderful to have these laptops in our school and the girls always enjoy working on them. They did a wonderful job and their writing was published after the midterm break.
The girls had great fun working with tangrams during Maths Week. They created their own unique shapes and words using the different pieces.
This week, the girls in Room 1 wrote some beautiful letters to the residents of Hazel Hall Nursing Home to spread some positivity at this difficult time. It was so heart-warming to hear their kind and caring words.
We have started Teacher Thursday in Room 1. We spin a wheel each Thursday and one of the girls teaches a 15minute lesson the following week. This will be updated each week.
Today, Ms. Nevin taught us all how to create cute fox origami. She was a wonderful teacher and we all really enjoyed this lesson. Thanks Ms. Nevin!
For Science week, we did a number of activities during the week including: researching different scientists, learning about the eye and working together on fun experiments on Friday. You will see in the photos that we created lava lamps, skittles colour wheels and marshmallow towers. It was a brilliant end to the week!
