Green School Activities

Green schools
Green Schools Committee have been working hard all year on recycling. The compost bins reintroduced last September have been a great success. We are delighted to announce that we will be working with Eileen O’Carroll of Firmount House on composting. Our composting will be collected daily and fed to the pigs in Firmount House.
Pupils are asked to bring home every other piece of packaging from their lunch. Please continue to encourage your children to use recycling bins. Small daily practices will make a huge impact on our environment. Think globally, act locally!

David has been busy making raised beds. Classes have been busy planting flowers and vegetables. Hopefully we will get to see the fruits of the children’s hard work in the coming weeks.
