We have been learning all about China and Chinese New Year. The girls brought in Chinese things from home. We also made Chinese Dragons!

We talked about our Grandparents during Catholic Schools Week

Happy St. Brigid’s Day.
Our school is named after St. Brigid. We went to a Prayer Service for St. Brigid’s Day. We will try to be kind like St. Brigid.

We have been learning about Inuit people. Look at our wonderful pictures depicting their lives:
We are doing lots of work about ‘The Paper Dolls’ by Julia Donaldson.

We made our own Paper Dolls!! We tried to give them names too!!

We won a trophy from the Green School Initiative

We put our rubbish in the right bins.
We turned out our lights.
We closed our doors.

We did some interviews to learn about Toys in the Past and we created our own Museum of Toys

We listened to a poem about Jack Frost. We talked about what he looks like. We used Oil Pastels to draw a picture of him. Here is some of our work:

We have had an Elf on a Shelf in our class. He has kept use giggling all December!!

We collected things to make a lovely hamper for a lucky family this Christmas.
